Job Title: Experienced Litigation Paralegal Employer: Law Firm Location: Melville, NY 11747 Salary: $56,973 - $60,127 a year Job Type: Full-time, Part-time Responsibilities: * Prepare litigation documents, including District and Supreme Court cases, summons, complaints, default judgments, discovery demands, NYCEF requests, calendaring, and court communication. * Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, handling witnesses, and preparing trial binders. * Conduct legal research and analysis, and prepare legal memos. * Manage case files and maintain case calendars. * Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. * Other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal. * Excellent knowledge of litigation procedures, including District and Supreme Court filing requirements and e-filing procedures. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work quickly and efficiently, with attention to detail. * Flexibility to work in the office or remotely with flexible hours. * Collection consumer credit transaction experience is a bonus.
