Job Title: Experienced Labor & Employment Attorney at a well-established law firm

Summary:

Join a prestigious law firm as an Experienced Labor & Employment Attorney and represent employers in various legal matters. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, offering competitive benefits and a salary range of $160,000 - $190,000.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations on various employment matters such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes.
- Defend clients in PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) matters.
- Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery requests.
- Present and argue motions in court.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Provide employment counseling on federal and state employment laws when needed.

Requirements:

- Must have a JD from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted and in good standing with the California Bar.
- 5+ years of experience in employment litigation, with a preference for Class Action and PAGA experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Federal and California state labor and employment laws.
- Prior experience with depositions and motions in court.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage cases from start to finish.
- Ability to direct the work of associate attorneys and paralegals.
- Strategic thinking and ability to provide practical counsel to clients.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid work schedule, with 2 days in the office.

Responsibilities:

- Represent employers in legal matters.

Requirements:

- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admitted and in good standing with California Bar.
- 5+ years of employment litigation experience.
- Familiarity with Class Action and PAGA cases.
- Strong knowledge of Federal and California state labor and employment laws.
- Experience with depositions and motions in court.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage cases independently.
- Ability to direct and oversee the work of others.
- Strategic thinking and ability to provide practical counsel to clients.
- Able to work in a hybrid schedule.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment litigation.
- Experience with Class Action and PAGA cases preferred.

Salary Information:

- Salary range of $160,000 - $190,000.
- Annual minimum billable hours requirement of 1610.
- Opportunity to earn a bonus for hours worked in excess of the minimum.
