Job Title: Trial Attorney - Premises Liability

Job Responsibilities:
As a Trial Attorney at the law firm, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload, specifically overseeing approximately 150 cases, with around 50 actively in litigation each month. Your role involves guiding each case from intake through settlement or jury verdict. You will engage with clients, maintaining proactive and transparent communication to ensure they are informed and supported throughout the legal process. Key litigation activities you will conduct include depositions, drafting and responding to motions, leading mediations, and developing comprehensive case strategies. Additionally, you will serve as lead counsel in jury trials, advocating passionately to secure favorable outcomes for clients.

Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for this position, you need a minimum of 3 years practicing personal injury or civil litigation, with 5-8 years preferred. Experience on either the plaintiff or defense side is valuable, although plaintiff-side experience for civil litigation is preferred. You must have active licensure and be in good standing with your local State Bar, with multiple state bar admissions preferred. Extensive jury trial experience and a deep understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence are required. The firm expects attorneys to be unafraid of taking cases to court, requiring at least 5+ first chair trial verdicts to be considered, with 10+ first chair jury verdicts preferable. Exceptional communication skills are necessary to articulate case strategies and engage effectively with clients and team members.

Salary Information:
The law firm offers competitive compensation, with attorneys typically earning between $150,000 and $350,000 annually. This range reflects the high value placed on your expertise and contributions.
