Job Title: Experienced Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to trial counsel across all stages of litigation, from initial investigation through trial and resolution. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, and other litigation-related documents.
- Conducting thorough factual investigations.
- Assisting attorneys in preparation for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
- Providing direct support during trial proceedings.
- Managing, organizing, and reviewing complex litigation documents.
- Proficiently using document review platforms such as Relativity or similar systems.
- Navigating electronic and paper filing procedures in both state and federal courts.
- Conducting effective legal research and being familiar with relevant court rules.
- Utilizing collaboration and productivity tools like Microsoft Teams and Asana.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program. A minimum of five years of litigation experience is required. The candidate should have:
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Strong experience in managing, organizing, and reviewing complex litigation documents.
- Proficiency in using document review platforms such as Relativity or similar tools.
- Familiarity with collaboration and productivity tools like Microsoft Teams and Asana is strongly preferred.
- Experience in accurately recording billable hours.
