Job Title: Corporate and Real Estate Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
- Conveying information professionally to individuals at all levels within the law firm with a strong service orientation.
- Preparing, revising, and filing various legal documents, certificates, statements, amendments, and forms.
- Performing Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and other legal searches, analyzing, and summarizing the results for review.
- Preparing and tracking closing checklists and transaction documentation from the transaction's initiation through to the completion of post-closing tasks, including creating closing binders.
- Assisting in the preparation of closing statements.
- Reviewing due diligence materials to ensure all necessary information is gathered and accurate.
- Proficiently working with CT Corporation, Capitol Services, and other registered agent entities and State Business Offices to form, maintain, and dissolve entities, and manage the filing, amending, and termination of UCC filings.
- Drafting form documents related to entity formation and governance.
- Preparing corporate transaction exhibits, comparing and contrasting them, and identifying discrepancies for follow-up.
- Understanding payment procedures for filings and registered agent services.
- Collaborating directly with attorneys and clients during closings and corporate transactions.
- Prioritizing a high volume of time-sensitive projects, multitasking efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and working well under pressure.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
Education: A Bachelor's degree with an ABA paralegal certification or an Associate's/Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal studies is preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of paralegal experience is preferred.

Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of legal principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills for effective communication with a diverse group of internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff, while maintaining a high level of work quality and customer service.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
