Job Title: Legal Assistant - Personal Injury
Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Assistant will be responsible for supporting the life cycle of personal injury cases through a variety of administrative duties. Key responsibilities include setting up new claims with insurance companies, requesting background checks and court records, and supporting attorneys and case managers with case file maintenance. The role also involves scanning, saving, and routing incoming mail and faxes, obtaining medical records and bills from providers and other third parties, and maintaining organized physical and digital case files. The assistant will update information and documents in Neos CMS, provide front desk and reception coverage as needed, attend team meetings as scheduled, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of legal administrative experience or equivalent. An associate degree or higher is preferred, while a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency with computers and familiarity with legal terminology and personal injury case processes are essential. The candidate should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking abilities, high attention to detail, and a professional work ethic. A collaborative mindset and willingness to help others, as well as the ability to prioritize and drive tasks to completion, are also important.
Salary Information:
This is a full-time hourly position with a starting rate of , depending on experience.

The position is on-site and full-time, based in the Charlotte office, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
