Introduction
Mintz is a top-ranked law firm seeking a skilled Employment Associate with at least 2 years of experience to join our team in San Diego. Our employment attorneys have extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and provide comprehensive legal services to clients in various industries. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with employment litigation, counseling, and compliance matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of employment litigation, including discrimination, leave, wage and hour, non-compete, and breach of contract cases
- Provide daily employment and HR-related counseling to clients
- Draft employment policies and agreements, such as handbooks, employment agreements, and separation agreements
- Conduct investigations and trainings related to employment compliance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective representation and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted or eligible for admission in California
- At least 2 years of employment law experience, including litigation and counseling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and pay attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $235,000 to $260,000, and the position is bonus eligible. Mintz also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
