Job Title: EDGE Internship Summer Program (Engineer & Patent Scientist)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform patent and technical research and writing tasks.
- Review patent applications and draft documents for attorney review.
- Research and report on patent filings.
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by the direct report.
- Work directly with intellectual property professionals.
- Gain exposure to patent engineer, scientist, and agent programs.
- Develop research and writing skills under the guidance of industry professionals.
- Become familiar with the latest technologies and technical developments.
- Receive mentorship from an experienced Intellectual Property professional.
- Participate in formal goal setting and evaluations.
- Engage in networking and social activities.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must have a passion for technology and a genuine interest in patent law.
- Highly proficient research skills and demonstrated analytical ability are required.
- Candidates must be detail-oriented with excellent time management and follow-up skills.
- Strong initiative and proactiveness in working with others are essential.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
- Valid authorization to work in the . is required.
