Law Firm is seeking an experienced Wage and Hour Associate Attorney to join our team in California. This position is open to candidates with 3-7+ years of experience in wage and hour litigation, specifically defending class and PAGA claims and actions in state and federal court. The successful candidate will have excellent research and writing skills, as well as experience in conducting document and data reviews, preparing case evaluations, responding to discovery requests, and attending mediations and court hearings.

The Wage and Hour Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to wage and hour class and PAGA actions, including conducting and defending depositions, preparing and responding to dispositive motions, and attending arbitration and trials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wage and hour law and be admitted to practice in the State of California.

Key responsibilities for the Wage and Hour Associate Attorney include:

- Defending class and PAGA claims and actions in state and federal court
- Conducting document and data reviews related to wage and hour claims
- Preparing case evaluations for clients related to wage and hour class/PAGA actions
- Responding to discovery requests in class/PAGA matters
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Law and motion work, including moving to compel arbitration and preparing and responding to dispositive motions
- Preparing for and attending mediations in class/PAGA actions
- Attending court hearings, status conferences, and arguing dispositive motions
- Arbitration and trial experience

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

- 3-7+ years of experience in wage and hour litigation, specifically defending class and PAGA claims and actions
- Admitted to practice law in the State of California
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Knowledge of California wage and hour laws and regulations
- Experience with conducting document and data reviews, preparing case evaluations, and responding to discovery requests
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work effectively under pressure
- Experience with arbitration and trial proceedings is a plus
