Job Title: Real Estate Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze title and survey documents related to complex commercial projects, with additional experience in solar, wind, and alternative energy projects being advantageous.
- Support attorneys by organizing and drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses, particularly for large condemnation projects.
- Oversee document management tasks, including substantive reviews, production tracking, and organization for development, rezoning, land division, and environmental litigation projects.
- Assist attorneys in drafting real estate, financing, and transactional documents.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing deadlines, due diligence, and critical dates, utilizing spreadsheets and checklists for both litigation and transactional assignments.
- Collaborate within a team-driven environment while also being capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Assist with state court, real estate, UCC, and corporate filings.
- Conduct legal research using Lexis Advance and other research tools.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations in real estate-related projects.
Education and Experience Information:
- The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of litigation experience with a strong background in real estate.
- An ABA-approved paralegal degree is preferred.
