Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Possess strong cite checking and blue booking skills for the preparation of court submissions, written discovery, and legal memoranda.
- Exhibit project and case management skills, executing a full range of paralegal tasks to meet litigation case needs from inception to conclusion.
- Manage assigned cases along with related tasks and projects.
- Demonstrate organizational and oversight skills by assisting attorneys in ensuring all documentation associated with a case, such as correspondence, pleadings, document productions, research files, and emails, is filed appropriately.
- Assist with the organization of case rooms and electronic repositories.
- Contribute to all aspects of trial preparation and trials, including preparing trial exhibits and demonstratives, preparing witness files and examination materials, coordinating activities with court personnel and court reporters, and providing support during and after trial.
- Conduct factual research and analyze information.
- Maintain discovery files, notice depositions, draft subpoenas, and prepare deposition materials for witnesses and experts.
- Work with databases and litigation software packages.
- Work and learn independently, meet deadlines, and interact well with attorneys, staff, and clients.
- Communicate effectively, reporting case status projects to attorneys.
- Possess knowledge of e-filings with various courts and the ability to research federal, state, court, judge, and electronic filing rules.
- Display good writing and proofreading skills.
Education and Experience Information:
- A is required.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a law firm as a litigation paralegal is required.
- The ability to work overtime is required.
- The ability to travel, typically for trial, is required.
- Litigation trial experience is necessary.

- Capacity to work on projects independently or with little supervision.

Salary Information:
- The salary range is $75,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
