Job Title: Senior Pricing Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Pricing Analyst at the law firm is responsible for supporting the Associate Director of Strategic Pricing. The role involves various functions aimed at aligning pricing initiatives with the firm's strategic goals. Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the development of creative pricing arrangements, financial models, and budgets to align with the firm's revenue and profitability initiatives and strategic goals.
- Generating financial analyses to support pricing strategies, policies, and optimize pricing.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for strategic pricing development.
- Monitoring and evaluating pricing performance metrics and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of team processes, checklists, a pricing repository, and other resources to enhance the pricing function.
- Assisting in responding to requests from attorneys for matter planning, budgeting, pricing estimates, and tracking.
- Assisting in responding to requests for proposals specific to pricing strategies and preparing pricing estimates.
- Conducting market and competitive pricing analysis to identify trends and opportunities in conjunction with the annual timekeeper rate-setting process.
- Working with and coaching attorneys to understand and identify client priorities, negotiation strategies, scope, and assumptions, and evaluating relevant factors and risks that may impact pricing and matter management.
- Developing effective relationships with attorneys and business professionals across the firm.

Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a 4-year degree with major coursework in Finance preferred, or a combination of education and commensurate work experience. Trade training is preferred. The candidate should have 5 years of related work experience in pricing, financial, profitability analysis, or economics, preferably in a professional services environment. Knowledge of legal statistical modeling and pricing tools is required.

The candidate must have robust analytical skills and the ability to utilize computer systems and related tools, including Elite 3E, Iridium, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft office products, especially Excel, is required. SQL proficiency is preferred, and familiarity with data warehouse extraction and budget platforms is beneficial.

Salary Information:
Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:

- State of California: $82,000 - $156,000
- State of Colorado: $75,000 - $134,000
- State of Illinois: $74,000 - $143,000
- Jersey City, NJ: $89,000 - $161,000
- State of Maryland: $79,000 - $120,000
- State of Massachusetts: $82,000 - $156,000
- State of Minnesota: $82,000 - $135,000
- State of New York: $76,000 - $164,000
- State of Washington: $79,000 - $150,000
- Washington, .: $106,000 - $155,000

These salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, which is non-guaranteed and dependent upon individual and firm performance.
