Job Title: Labor & Employment Counsel H1: Join Fox Rothschild as a Labor & Employment Counsel in Los Angeles or San Francisco H2: Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Counsel in Labor & Employment Law Law Firm: Fox Rothschild Job Type: Full-Time Job ID: 1201 Location: Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA Salary Range: $265,000 - $290,000 Experience: 9-12 years Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD), licensed to practice law in California Fox Rothschild is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Labor & Employment Counsel to join their team at either the Los Angeles or San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have a JD and be licensed to practice law in California, with 9-12 years of relevant experience in labor and employment law. Responsibilities: - Defending against single plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and reasonable accommodation - Handling PAGA matters and class actions - Independently managing cases from start to finish - Conducting legal research and writing - Drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery - Arguing motions, including dispositive and discovery motions - Taking and defending depositions, including those of corporate witnesses - Providing employment counseling on federal and state laws and regulations Qualifications: - Juris Doctorate (JD) required - Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California - 9-12 years of relevant experience in labor and employment law - Strong research, writing skills, and academic record Work Environment & Physical Demands: - Office setting, using standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, printers, and copiers - Sedentary work, involving sitting for most of the time - Walking and standing may be necessary for job duties - Close visual acuity for activities such as data analysis, transcribing, and computer work Compensation & Benefits: - Salary range of $265,000 - $290,000, based on experience and other factors - Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans - For more information, visit the Fox Rothschild website DISCLAIMER: Fox Rothschild is an equal opportunity employer, and applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
