Job Title: Legal Talent Senior Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Talent Senior Coordinator is a crucial member of the Legal Professional and Paralegal team at the law firm. This role involves taking a lead role in managing the daily staffing of paralegals, focusing on their utilization, integration, and retention within the firm. The coordinator is responsible for developing coverage plans and leverage models and engaging in strategic thinking and relationship building to meet staffing and utilization objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing reports and utilization metrics to identify areas of under/over-utilization and developing staffing recommendations, coverage plans, and leverage models accordingly.
- Planning proactively for unavailability, upcoming bandwidth within the population, and short-term coverage needs.
- Understanding the role and function of other practice support resources and how to leverage them appropriately when making staffing decisions.
- Building rapport with the paralegal population and understanding the nuances of specialized skills.
- Developing an understanding of practice group needs, staffing preferences, and client restrictions.
- Protecting and maintaining highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information retained by the law firm.
Education and Experience Information:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Experience in US law firms is preferred.
- Demonstrable project management experience is preferred.
The role demands excellent organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines. Strong project management skills are essential, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure timely completion and alignment with department goals.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the Legal Talent Senior Coordinator position is between USD $100, and USD $120, per year. In addition to the base salary, successful candidates will receive a generous total compensation package, with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
