Position Overview:

As a Managing Attorney at MFL, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the productivity and profitability of our Dallas office. Your expertise in family law and leadership skills will be essential in mentoring and developing our team of attorneys and paralegals. You will also have the opportunity to partner with our HR and Talent Acquisition departments to ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive the productivity and profitability of the Dallas office, including work product and billable hours goals.
- Mentor and develop our team of attorneys and paralegals through education, motivation, and one-on-one counseling.
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to recruit and hire new attorneys and paralegals.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures by partnering with HR.
- Collaborate with other Managing Attorneys and department leaders to support the local team.

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a license in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
- 7+ years of experience practicing law, with experience in family law and leading a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
