The Legal Administrative Services Manager – Central will be based in one of our three Central offices: Dallas, Houston, or Denver. This role will support the Legal Administrative Services team in these locations and will report to the Central Region’s Directors of Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of 20+ Legal Administrative Services staff in the Dallas, Houston, or Denver office, including Legal Administrative Assistants, Legal Executive Assistants, Sr. Legal Executive Assistants, and Legal Administrative Support Coordinators.
- Develop and implement strategies, training, and innovation within the Legal Administrative Services department to stay ahead of industry developments and utilize the latest technologies and methodologies.
- Act as an ambassador for the Legal Administrative Services team, building trust and strong relationships with team members and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with office leaders and other US Legal Administrative Services Managers to implement positive change, navigate new ways of working, and identify efficiencies.
- Manage work schedules, assignments, time off, and overtime for the Legal Administrative Services team.
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, employee relations, on-boarding, training and development, and engagement for the department.
- Prepare and manage the department budget, approve expenses, and seek value engineering opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment, with previous experience managing complex administrative duties and projects.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
- Strong people management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle confidential information.
- Proactive, solutions-driven, and strategic thinker.
- Enthusiastic and able to motivate and engage a growing team.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Annual salary range of $120-140k, dependent on qualifications and operational considerations.
- Benefits include health care, retirement benefits, paid time off, parental leave, life insurance, and discretionary bonuses.
