Job Title: International Compliance Analyst (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the review and development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the law firm's legal, regulatory, and client obligations, specifically for international offices.
- Support the firm's Cross Border Data Transfer Program and perform Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) as necessary.
- Monitor and effectively communicate changes in compliance regulations and standards.
- Support the development and expansion of the firm's Anti-Bribery and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) programs.
- Communicate and promote the Privacy and Compliance program and associated initiatives.
- Ensure appropriate compliance standards, practices, and internal controls are documented and adhered to.
- Support the program’s communication and awareness campaigns, including identifying training requirements and relevant topics for international offices.
- Keep current with compliance best practices and trends and communicate with other team members.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments, develop mitigation or corrective action plans, and communicate and escalate identified risks as necessary.
- Facilitate compliance risk mitigation efforts by providing monitoring and oversight of remediation efforts to support ongoing compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish in a professional business and legal environment.
- Handle special projects and duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- Required: 3+ years of professional compliance, investigation, or data privacy experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of the elements of an effective compliance program.
- Preferred: Industry standard certification, such as CCEP, CCEP-I, CHC, CHPC.
Salary Information:
- Illinois: $78,000 - $117,000 per year
- District of Columbia: $85,000 - $128,000 per year
- New York City: $85,000 - $128,000 per year
- Colorado: $71,000 - $106,000 per year
- California: $85,000 - $128,000 per year
