Job Responsibilities:
The paralegal position involves a range of duties integral to supporting civil defense litigation matters. The primary responsibilities include:

- Assisting with the preparation, filing, and service of pleadings.
- Organizing and managing documents pertinent to legal cases.
- Handling medical record requests and reviewing documents.
- Production of documents and responding to discovery requests.
- Ensuring familiarity and compliance with GA Court Rules and Procedures.

Education and Experience:
Candidates for the paralegal position are required to meet the following educational and experiential qualifications:

- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or a Paralegal Certificate. A certificate may be mandated based on regional, state, or client-specific requirements.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience specifically in litigation work is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, is necessary, with strong skills in Excel being particularly critical.
- Strong organizational abilities, as well as written and verbal communication skills, are required.
- The capability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities effectively is essential.
- Flexibility in work hours, including the ability to work fluctuating hours as needed, is required.
- An annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours is part of the position.
