Paralegal The candidate' involves handling personal injury, workers compensation and auto accident matters from beginning to end, including communication with insurance companies, clients, and medical professionals. Paralegal experience is preferred, but not required. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and a good communicator. Willingness to learn is a plus. Responsibilities include: Assist attorney with individual cases and docket management; Monitor and maintain client relationships; Request, obtain, and review health insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid liens; Request, obtain, and review medical bills and records; Draft demand letters and prepare/send demand packages, reduction requests, settlement memos, and disbursements; Speak with medical providers, claims adjusters, and subrogation analysts; Case organization and maintenance, preparing for witness interviews, discovery, and trials. Drafts legal documents, motions, complaints, pleadings and correspondence; Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
