Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, a leading professional services firm, is currently seeking a skilled Employment Associate to join our nationally prominent Employment and Labor practice. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3-4 years of experience in employment defense to take on more responsibility and work with a diverse range of clients in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Defend against wage and hour class actions, discrimination and retaliation matters
- Draft motions for summary judgment and other dispositive motions
- Advise clients on company policies and procedures and key legal risks
- Draft employment agreements and develop training and auditing programs
- Conduct investigations, provide crisis management services, and conduct webinars and seminars

Requirements:

- 3-4 years of solid employment experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Effective problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently
- California bar membership in good standing
