The primary responsibilities of this position include eliciting invention disclosures, drafting and prosecuting patent applications worldwide, advising on trademark matters, and contributing to the company's global IP strategies. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with engineers to elicit invention disclosures - Prepare and prosecute US and foreign patent applications - Manage US and foreign patent counsel - Assist with branding new products and managing worldwide trademark portfolio - Analyze patent and trademark searches - Build relationships with technical and business leaders - Provide proactive and efficient IP advice tailored to business needs - Stay updated on US and global IP laws and technology developments Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant discipline - JD degree and USPTO Patent Bar registration - Licensed attorney in one or more states - 2+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications - Experience in both law firm and in-house environments preferred - Willingness to travel as needed - Software or hardware engineering experience preferred Company Information:
