Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP is seeking 4th to 7th year associates with expertise in government enforcement defense and internal investigations matters. Applicants must have strong writing and analytical skills and top academic credentials.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Representing clients in government investigations, civil and criminal proceedings, internal investigations, and other enforcement actions

• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other documents related to government investigations, civil and criminal proceedings, and other enforcement actions

• Representing clients in negotiations with government attorneys and other parties

• Advising clients on the development and implementation of compliance programs

• Participating in client meetings and presenting reports, findings, and recommendations

• Supporting the firm's litigation practice

• Assisting in the training and development of junior attorneys

Qualifications

• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in government enforcement defense and internal investigations matters

• . degree from an accredited law school

• Excellent academic credentials

• Strong writing and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Admission to the California State Bar

Salary and Benefits

The annual compensation range for this position is between $310,000 and $420,000. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Benefits offered for this position include health care; retirement benefits; paid days off, including sick time, and vacation time; parental leave; basic life insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts; as well as discretionary, performance-based bonuses.
