Job Title: Employment Counsel

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice and counseling globally on a broad range of employment law matters, including recruiting, hiring, employee relations, worker classification, performance management, diversity efforts, compensation and benefits, wage and hour, immigration, employee relocations, leaves of absence, and internal investigations.
- Draft, review, and advise internal team members on employment contracts, consulting agreements, staffing and recruiting agreements, and employer of record agreements.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Global Mobility, recruiters, and other internal partners in the US and in each of the company's international jurisdictions.
- Review, update, and develop employee handbooks, policies, procedures, guidelines, and training in various international jurisdictions.
- Proactively identify, assess, and advise on employment risks.
- Partner with external advisors globally who are engaged to support various projects.

Education and Experience Information:
- .
- 4-6 years of employment law experience at a leading law firm; in-house experience is a plus.
- Strong employment counseling experience across a wide range of employment law.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently and effectively collaborate with HR Business Partners, recruiters, and other internal team members in many different countries.
- Ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner and provide succinct, practical, and results-oriented legal advice.
- Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and flexible.

Salary Information:
- For positions based in New York, the annual salary range for this position is $192,000—$240,000 USD.
- Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors, including an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position.
- This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.
