Job Title: Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
A Paralegal at the law firm is a crucial member of the legal team, responsible for assisting and supporting state attorneys in their duties by performing paralegal and administrative tasks. The responsibilities include:

- Promptly responding to and executing instructions from various supervisors and managers including the state attorney, direct supervisor, secondary supervisor, Collections Manager, Client Relations Manager, Director of Compliance, Director of Operations, and/or President.
- Assisting the state attorney/paralegal supervisor in maintaining account files.
- Assisting the state attorney in drafting documents and legal pleadings.
- Helping the state attorney/paralegal supervisor with file maintenance by updating case files with relevant court/vendor information.
- Reviewing drafted correspondences/pleadings, assembling documentation, and redacting and assembling case exhibits.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for those with a degree in Law or Legal studies.
- At least two years of experience working in a professional office setting is required.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary.

Salary Information:
- Compensation for the Paralegal position will be based on the individual's skills, abilities, and knowledge.
