Job Title: Client Accounts Administrator

Job Responsibilities:
The Client Accounts Administrator is responsible for managing the law firm’s top-tier billing portfolios, focusing on high-volume and high-fee clients and attorneys. This role involves serving as a proxy for regional supervisors as needed and is considered a subject-matter expert in billing. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing complex billing for high-volume, global clients, including electronic billing assignments.
- Supporting the full billing cycle, including reviewing and editing prebills and seeking requisite approvals for deferrals, write-offs, and time transfers.
- Addressing billing inquiries and resolving tickets assigned by the Accounting Service Desk daily, ensuring SLA requirements for response and resolution are met.
- Demonstrating high proficiency in BillBlast, key electronic billing vendor sites, Aderant, and e-billing applications.
- Maintaining accurate descriptions of all client billing requirements, including those established by the client’s general counsel, and updating these as necessary.
- Obtaining complex monthly reporting in collaboration with other teams, ensuring data accuracy before submission.
- Finalizing invoices and submitting them directly to clients or attorneys, including other necessary billing information.
- Striving continuously to improve client service and deliverables by utilizing legal industry knowledge.
- Providing training and mentoring to other staff members on billing procedures.
- Coordinating and leading global client unified billing, managing global client account assignments, and performing all full-cycle billing functions.
- Liaising with international counterparts to obtain accurate accrual and forecasting information for monthly client reporting.
- Engaging tools and resources effectively to deliver assignments and meet deadlines, managing time efficiently.

Education and Experience Information:

Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field is highly preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience:
- 5 years of experience managing high-volume billing portfolios in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert-level knowledge and experience with direct billing or client accounts, including domestic and global billing, and e-Billing for a law or professional services organization.
- Experience as a team lead is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems such as Aderant, are required.
- Proficiency in e-billing applications such as BillBlast or e-Billing Hub is required.

Salary Information:
The law firm’s expected hiring range for this position is - per hour, depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and receive overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered will depend on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. A comprehensive package of benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k), is offered.
