Job Responsibilities:
The Land Use Attorney will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining municipal land-use approvals and ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental regulations related to real-estate development. This includes, but is not limited to, regulations concerning SEQRA, wetlands, stormwater, and threatened and endangered species. The attorney will have the opportunity to work on a variety of real-estate development projects across the state, including those with regional and state-wide significance. The role requires collaboration with over two dozen lawyers within the law firm's dynamic land-use and development practice.

Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Land Use Attorney position must have at least 3 years of experience in land-use and real-estate development law. Experience in obtaining municipal land-use approvals and working with state and federal environmental regulations is essential. While not mandatory, real estate transactional experience could be advantageous. The candidate must be admitted to practice law in New York.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Land Use Attorney position ranges from $125, to $175,, depending on experience and qualifications.
