Job Title: Attorney Engagement & Inclusion Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
The Attorney Engagement & Inclusion Coordinator at the law firm is responsible for managing and supporting various initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing onboarding, community building, and workplace engagement for all attorneys. Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling all meetings for the Women’s Initiatives Network (WIN) and managing communication with external speakers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of events.
- Coordinating logistics for WIN-sponsored events, which includes handling paperwork for speaker agencies, managing creative requests, circulating invites, liaising with IT and marketing teams, preparing surveys, ordering materials, and circulating recordings.
- Providing administrative support for firmwide Partner Meetings, including coordinating meetings with co-chairs, liaising with the Events team, coordinating communications, and liaising with external speakers.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to Women Affinity Groups in each office, and providing support, ideas, and guidance for the groups’ co-chairs.
- Offering administrative support for professional development sponsorships by tracking attorney participation and budget.
- Updating and maintaining content on the law firm's intranet, **Members Only** Connect.
- Supporting 3-4 affinity networks by providing scheduling assistance, budget tracking, and coordinating logistics for network events.
- Supporting the New Partner Liaison program, including maintaining tracking documents and templates, coordinating outreach, and other program-related tasks.
- Assisting with general administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, document management, and maintaining internal resources.
Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for the Attorney Engagement & Inclusion Coordinator position, candidates should possess the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of experience in recruiting, admissions, inclusion, or professional development in a law or professional services firm, an institution of higher education, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a law firm or school is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with virtual meeting applications like Zoom and Microsoft Office programs, including Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Human Resources systems, Applicant Tracking systems, timekeeping systems, and relational databases is preferred (., Workday, iCIMS, Intapp, Salesforce).
- A high client service ethic with a proven record of delivering exemplary client satisfaction to both external and internal client constituencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside the firm.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to present complex ideas succinctly and clearly.
- Strong interactive skills and the ability to succeed in a teamwork environment, demonstrating reliability, dependability, and flexibility.
- A strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of projects and responsibilities, and resolving issues proactively.
- The ability to prepare accurate, highly detailed work products.
- The ability to assess information, anticipate issues and outcomes, and make effective decisions.
- The ability to organize time, prioritize workload effectively, and work independently.
Salary Information:
The salary for the Attorney Engagement & Inclusion Coordinator role varies based on location:
- New York, San Francisco salary range: $63,000 to $88,000
- Boston, Washington, . salary range: $60,000 to $84,000
Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed may vary based on factors such as local market data, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
