Job Title: Law Clerk
Experience: Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school or will have obtained a Juris Doctor by May 2024.

Essential Functions:
- Prepares memoranda and opinions
- Researches legal issues
- Prepares cases for docket
- Reviews case files and motions
- Performs various duties related to court's case management
- Attends court daily
Education:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Will obtain Juris Doctor by May 2024
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent legal writing and research skills
- Knowledge of laws, rules, and court procedures
- Knowledge of case progression from original charge through trial, sentencing, modification, and violation of probation stages
- Knowledge of general office work and computer hardware/software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform legal research and read/understand law-related materials
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with court staff
- Ability to compose orders and memoranda
- Ability to apply policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and laws as required
