Job Responsibilities
The law firm is currently seeking a qualified and motivated applicant to join the team as a Legal Assistant. This individual will play a key role in supporting attorneys and the paralegal/manager with the day-to-day operations of the office. Responsibilities include:

- Providing administrative and clerical support to attorneys and legal staff
- Drafting, proofreading, and managing legal documents and correspondence
- Assisting in maintaining case files and ensuring all records are up to date
- Communicating with clients and other parties in a professional manner
- Supporting the firm in maintaining compliance with all relevant legal standards and procedures

Education and Experience Information
- Prior legal experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent writing, proofreading, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using and learning new computer programs and web-based systems
