Job Title: Legal Clerk Team Lead

Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Clerk Team Lead is tasked with overseeing a team of Legal Clerks who perform administrative tasks supporting the Legal and Operations teams. This role involves managing the in-office aspects of case flows throughout all phases of the case handling process. The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the team meets deadlines, maintains high-quality standards, and provides an exceptional client experience. Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising and mentoring a team of Legal Clerks, providing guidance, support, performance management, and payroll oversight to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Overseeing and supporting team members' training and development.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for Legal Clerks and reporting on strengths and areas for improvement.
- Facilitating team meetings and one-on-one sessions to address questions and share process updates.
- Ensuring team members complete required tasks for cases and adhere to set deadlines.
- Reviewing and auditing documents and case packets submitted by Legal Clerks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Overseeing the mail processing process, including sorting and action based on type, priority, and client needs.
- Serving as the primary point of escalation for unique or highly complex situations.
- Developing, implementing, and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) using feedback from team members and guidance from leadership.

Education and Experience Information:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Previous leadership experience is preferred.
- Previous legal assistance or immigration law experience is required.
- Previous customer service or office experience is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including Dropbox, Sharepoint, or CRM, is required.
