Title: Senior Counsel, Privacy, AI & Data Responsibility, Identity

Job Responsibilities:
- The Senior Counsel will oversee privacy support for the Sales and Commercialization Identity teams.
- Develop contract structures, review contracts, and manage complex negotiations with customers, partners, and vendors to ensure privacy compliance and secure data use rights.
- Stay informed about privacy and data protection issues arising from identity verification technologies.
- Engage with the organization on privacy and data-related matters, including employee training and raising awareness about relevant regulatory or industry developments.
- Provide regular training and updates about emerging issues to the Global Privacy and Data Protection Team, offering creative approaches to ensure privacy compliance.
- Actively participate in external speaking engagements on various privacy topics.

Education and Experience Information:
- A . law degree is required, and candidates must be in good standing with a state bar.
- A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience is necessary.
- Additional qualifications, such as a Master of Laws degree, CIPP/E, or CIPP/US, are considered assets.
- Solid knowledge of global privacy laws, including the GDPR, CCPA, and relevant regulatory guidelines and opinions, is required.
- Demonstrated experience in working with business and end customers, leading direct negotiation of complex product-related agreements independently.
- Superior time management, planning, and organizational skills are needed.
- Strong analytical capabilities and written and oral communication skills are essential, with attention to detail being a must.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building and partnering. Candidates must work well in both team and individual settings, including across global jurisdictions.
- The ability to motivate and influence highly skilled professionals to achieve major organizational goals is required.

Salary Information:
- The successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience, and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.

- Pay ranges for this position are as follows:
- Seattle, Washington: $187,000 - $300,000 USD
- Arlington, Virginia: $187,000 - $300,000 USD
- Atlanta, Georgia: $163,000 - $261,000 USD
- Boston, Massachusetts: $187,000 - $300,000 USD
- Miami, Florida: $163,000 - $261,000 USD
- Purchase, New York: $187,000 - $300,000 USD

Additional Information:
- The role will report to the Senior Managing Counsel – Privacy & Data Protection, Identity, and will be a member of the Global Privacy & Data Protection team as well as the Law & Policy team.
