Job Responsibilities:
The role involves serving as a transactional/regulatory attorney with substantial expertise in the 1940 Act, including the Investment Advisory Act (IAA) and the Investment Company Act (ICA). The attorney will focus on work within the market regulation practice. This position is ideal for a partner/counsel level candidate who wishes to supplement their book of business with additional work or for someone without business interested in a part-time opportunity. The role offers flexibility in title and provides a rare opportunity to join a nationally recognized corporate practice in a large national law firm. Remote work is an option depending on jurisdiction, and candidates are considered regardless of office location.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should have substantial expertise in the 1940 Act, including the Investment Advisory Act (IAA) and the Investment Company Act (ICA). Experience working for the SEC or for a law firm in this area of law is preferred.

Salary Information:
The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $200,000 to a maximum of $350,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on various factors, such as years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, full-time equivalent (FTE), and the candidate’s overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the law firm.
