Job Title: Administrative Office Support 3, Law Enforcement
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide complex and specialized administrative support for the department of public safety, law enforcement.
- Prepare and process confidential documents, including legally required notices, meeting agendas, and minutes.
- Maintain departmental data and confidential files and records.
- Support EMS Training Unit programs by preparing and maintaining paperwork and files for various programs such as EMS Academy, EMT Programs, and American Heart Association classes.
- Manage and maintain payroll and personnel files, ensuring confidentiality.
- Oversee inventory and supply orders, ensuring availability of necessary office supplies and textbooks.
- Assist with tracking budget and department information, maintaining balances, researching discrepancies, and preparing financial reports.
- Provide administrative support for course creation, registration, and billing, including preparing completion certificates and American Heart Association cards.
- Organize and maintain the supervisor's calendar, including arranging meetings, travel, and project timelines.
- Assist in overseeing department programs by reviewing forms and documents for compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain an instructor network available on MyHACC for access to necessary forms and information.
- Manage the student database and social media for the Shumaker Public Safety Center.
- Provide instructional support for online programs through D2L, offering guidance and support for program delivery.
- Serve as administrative oversight of the college's Quick Response System (QRS), which is the ambulance for medical standby coverages.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience, or a combination of experience and education sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Licensing requirements include a valid driver's license.
- Compliance with PA Child Protective Service Laws is required.
- Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office, BANNER knowledge, and TACS.
Salary Information:
- The hiring range for this position is $38,070 to $47,588.
