Labor & Employment Associate (4 to 7 years)
Job Responsibilities:
As a Labor & Employment Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys within the Labor & Employment Department. Your responsibilities will include handling single-plaintiff matters, discrimination and wrongful discharge employment litigation, wage-hour matters, or class and collective actions. You will be expected to take on routine and increasingly complex matters with minimal supervision, utilizing your intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills to find practical solutions to complex legal issues.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have 4 to 7 years of labor and employment litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have worked on single-plaintiff matters, discrimination and wrongful discharge employment litigation, wage-hour matters, or class and collective actions. Excellent academic credentials are required, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in verbal and written communication. It is mandatory for the candidate to be licensed and admitted to practice law in the State of California.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $305,000 to $360,000. This range reflects the lowest to highest salary that the law firm believes it would pay for this role at the time of the job posting. An employee’s pay within this range will be determined by various factors including relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and the business or organizational needs. Additionally, this job is eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
