Position Summary

The law firm, a dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Litigation Paralegal to join their busy team in Atlanta, GA. The Litigation Paralegal will work directly with attorneys to assist with ongoing cases and prepare them for trial if needed. This role involves conducting fact-finding projects and maintaining all case files.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage cases through litigation and trial.
- Review, analyze, and organize documents produced during discovery.
- Propound and respond to discovery.
- Research case-related matters, including case law.
- Create privilege logs and prepare exhibits.
- Collaborate with attorneys and develop case strategies.
- Schedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, mediations, and hearings.
- Document management using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- E-file legal documents in Georgia’s E-Portal System.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
- Draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
- Send out correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mail.
- Communicate with clients.
- Set up Court Calls or Zoom for hearings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information

- Full-time, 8:30am to 5:30pm, M-F
- 3 to 5 years of litigation experience required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- .
- Experience e-filing in both state and federal courts preferred.
- Proficient with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong legal writing skills.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Teamwork oriented.
