Job Title: Bilingual Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
The Bilingual Legal Assistant at the law firm is responsible for managing a large immigration caseload, which includes Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications, I-765 and Employment Authorization Document (EAD) renewals, as well as handling FOIA and FBI requests, I-790, and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) cases. Key duties include:
- Keeping cases organized by establishing and organizing files, meeting deadlines, documenting actions, and inputting information into file databases and case management software.
- Assisting in case development by maintaining regular contact with attorneys and other paralegals involved in the cases.
- Keeping clients informed by providing frequent follow-up calls, letters, or emails.
Education and Experience Information:
The candidate must possess a high school degree. Additionally, the position requires the following skills and attributes:

The ability to speak Spanish is required.
Salary Information:
The position offers a salary of per hour, as provided by the employer. The role is classified as both full-time and contract, with no remote work option. The benefits package includes dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. The work schedule consists of an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.
Work Location:
The work location is in person.
