Job Responsibilities
The Supervisor of Applications Development is an essential member of the Technology and Information Services team at the law firm. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Programmer team. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing team goals and objectives, ensuring adherence to firm guidelines and policies.
- Collaborating with Human Resources and team leadership for recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Developing training plans and materials for developers, focusing on processes, tools, and technologies.
- Analyzing business needs and developing solutions in collaboration with users and stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, providing application support, and communicating project status to stakeholders.
- Protecting and maintaining highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information retained by the law firm.
Education and Experience Information
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, technology, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, significant equivalent work experience may be considered.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant programming experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of C#, , and SQL programming experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing or supervising a development team.
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Leadership skills in organizing, planning, and decision-making.
- Advanced knowledge of C#, , SQL, and mobile development technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary Information
The position offers a pay range between USD $160, and USD $185, per year. Successful candidates will receive a generous total compensation package, including bonuses awarded for both individual and firm performance.
