Job Title: Paralegal I - Legal Administration

Salary: Minimum per hour
Experience: 1-3 years of paralegal or legal administration experience in a corporate or law firm environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare client registration statement updates, SEC filings, and board materials for mutual fund clients
- Manage regulatory calendars and filing processes
- Maintain contractual agreements and corporate governance documents
- Assist with client-related projects and daily legal administration operations
- Implement and understand legal administration procedures for board meetings, corporate governance, and SEC filings
Working Relationships:
- Communicate with clients regarding general information, issue resolution, and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with team members and internal teams to follow up on inquiries and manage workflow
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited school, college, or university
- 1-3 years of paralegal or legal administration experience in a corporate or law firm environment
- Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940
Knowledge:
- Financial services industry
- Relevant statutes and rules related to legal administration
- Investment Company Act of 1940
- Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

- Strong client service skills with an understanding of legal needs in relation to business needs
