Job Responsibilities:
The Office Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of the law firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all aspects of the firm's accounting functions, which encompass daily deposits, journal entries, account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, purchasing, and vendor management.
- Preparing payroll and administering benefits programs to ensure all employees receive their entitled benefits and compensation accurately and on time.
- Managing the firm's inventory of office supplies and equipment to ensure that all necessary materials are available for daily operations without interruption.
- Collaborating with the IT department to maintain and troubleshoot office technology, ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively to support the firm's activities.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Office Manager position are required to have:
- An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Accounting or Business.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a service-related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of the operational needs within such environments.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, indicating a strong capability to handle the accounting software and data analysis tools essential for the role.
- Advanced IT skills to effectively manage and troubleshoot office technology in collaboration with the IT department.
Salary Information:
The salary for the Office Manager position ranges from $62,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience. Candidates who possess extensive experience may qualify for additional compensation, reflecting the law firm's commitment to offering competitive pay for highly qualified individuals.
