Job Title: Paralegal - Workers' Compensation

Job Responsibilities:
The Paralegal in the Workers' Compensation department at the law firm will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks related to workers' compensation and personal injury cases. Key responsibilities include:
- Investigating workers' compensation cases and gathering necessary evidence.
- Handling cases from the initial intake stage through to settlement, including participating in hearings and/or trials.
- Engaging in significant contact with clients, insurance adjusters, attorneys, and the courts.
- Demonstrating exceptional written communication and organizational skills.
- Advocating for the rights of injured victims in a meaningful and fulfilling capacity.

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess:
- Several years of experience in handling workers' compensation cases.
- Personal injury experience is considered a bonus.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is also a bonus.
- Experience with Filevine is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Windows, and Adobe is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience working in a law office is preferred.

Salary Information:
- The position offers a starting salary of $50, per year, with the potential for adjustment based on experience.

- This is a full-time position based in Baltimore, MD.
