Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Secretary/Paralegal at the law firm is responsible for a variety of tasks that support the smooth operation of the office and the effective management of legal matters. The primary duties include:
- Assisting with office management tasks.

- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Setting up new matters and organizing files.
- Invoicing clients and managing billing software.
- Gathering and organizing client information for legal matters.
- Managing mailings and court filings, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Searching and recording real estate records as needed.
- Filing necessary documents with the Secretary of State.
- Preparing drafts of basic legal documents.
The role requires a candidate with experience in a transactional legal setting and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and case management/billing software. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.
