K&L Gates Law Firm is searching for smart, imaginative, and hard-working individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking a 2026 2L summer associate for our Boston office, with a focus on our Asset Management and Investment Funds (AMIF) and Litigation and Dispute Resolution (Litigation) practice areas.

Our Boston office serves a wide range of clients in various industries and practice groups, including Antitrust, Competition, and Trade Regulation; Corporate; Intellectual Property; Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety; and White Collar Defense and Investigations. As a summer associate, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from attorneys in all practice groups, providing a full picture of the firm and its culture.

Our Summer Associate Program is designed to give law students active mentoring and exposure to our clients, practices, and lawyers. Criteria for selection include a strong interest in AMIF or Litigation, superior academic credentials, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Our summer associates will receive a weekly pay rate based on first-year associate salary, prorated for the summer program. The exact salary for 2026 summer associates will be determined by the K&L Gates Management Committee prior to the start of the program and may vary by office and practice area.
