**Members Only**, a prestigious law firm based in New England, is seeking a Senior Trust Operations Specialist to join our Trust Services Group in our Manchester, New Hampshire office. As a Trust Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of trust operations and serving as the primary contact for trust operations outsourcing. This role involves managing cash and position maintenance, reconciliation, and overall review of trust accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and sign off on account reconciliations on a daily basis
- Monitor and process disbursements for beneficiaries, expenses, and investments
- Assist with account onboarding process and ensure all necessary documentation is provided
- Conduct research on check clearing and handle stop payment requests
- Communicate with technology vendors and maintain data feeds
- Ensure proper maintenance of security master
- Facilitate the establishment of new unique or alternative investments in the trust accounting system
- Oversee monthly closing processes and client reporting
- Coordinate routine tax reporting and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Review and maintain synchronization between accounting and CRM systems
- Act as a system administrator for the trust accounting system
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of exposure to FIS Charlotte and Salesforce or equivalent trust accounting and CRM platforms
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of trust accounting and/or custody operations or portfolio accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and organize tasks effectively
- Works well independently and as part of a team
