Job Title: Immigration Paralegal (Bilingual)
Job Responsibilities:
The Immigration Paralegal will be responsible for supporting the legal team in a small local immigration law firm by managing various aspects of immigration cases. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting attorneys in preparing and filing immigration documents and legal forms.
- Managing client communications and providing updates on case progress.
- Conducting research and gathering necessary documentation for immigration cases.
- Maintaining organized and detailed client files.
- Ensuring all legal procedures and protocols are followed meticulously.
- Providing translation and interpretation services between English and Spanish for client interactions.
- Liaising with clients to collect required information and documents.
- Supporting the team in any additional tasks as needed to facilitate case management.
Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for the Immigration Paralegal position should possess the following qualifications:
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience in immigration law is required.
- Previous experience working in a legal or law firm environment is advantageous.
Language Proficiency:
