Job Title: Analyst, eDiscovery Services

Job Responsibilities:
The Analyst role in the eDiscovery Services team at the law firm is a pivotal position that merges law, technology, and data analysis. The primary responsibilities include collaborating with Project Managers to set up and manage eDiscovery databases crucial for document review, analysis, and production. The role involves monitoring and reporting on the progress of client projects and maintaining detailed documentation regarding the collection of electronic data from clients. Analysts are expected to organize and prepare data for various stages such as loading, processing, review, and production. They assist Project Managers in applying AI and sampling methodologies to large datasets. Analysts are also responsible for generating daily productivity metrics to assess the progress and status of document review projects, creating reports, and conducting searches within the firm’s eDiscovery platforms. Quality control checks of work products are also part of the role to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

Education and Experience Information:
A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of work experience in an office environment. While experience in eDiscovery, document review, law firm, corporate legal, or vendor environments is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates must have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and manage concurrent projects with high-quality results. The role requires a willingness to provide after-hours, overtime, and weekend support when necessary. Candidates should be able to work both independently and as part of a team under appropriate supervision. Effective communication skills with lawyers, vendors, and other key project stakeholders are essential, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work under rigorous deadlines in high-pressure situations is critical. Candidates must possess strong presentation skills, excellent analytical and problem resolution skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Professionalism, personal integrity, and a high degree of confidentiality are required, along with reliability, flexibility, and a client-service attitude in all situations.

Salary Information:
