Law firm seeking experienced Labor and Employment Attorney for statewide practice representing school and community college districts.

Job Title: Labor and Employment Attorney (Hybrid)
Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience
- Labor, employment and personnel experience required
- Experience with labor negotiations, including serving on a negotiations team; developing and drafting bargaining proposals, side letters and MOUs, developing negotiation plans and strategies; and effectively negotiating collective bargaining agreements and MOUs
- Experience with the Educational Employment Relations Act or similar labor relations statute preferred
- Public entity representation is preferred but not required
- Prior school district representation is a plus
- Admission to the California State Bar
Responsibilities:
- Representing public entities in labor, employment and personnel matters
- Developing and drafting bargaining proposals, side letters and MOUs
- Negotiating collective bargaining agreements and MOUs
- Providing legal counsel and advice to clients
- Conducting legal research and writing
- Handling a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities

- Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
- Flexibility and initiative
- Willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters

Salary:
- Anticipated annual salary wage range: $130,000 to $175,000
- Final annual salary wage offered will be dependent on several factors including type and years of experience in the job, type and years of experience in the industry, education, and other factors
