Senior Practice Innovation Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Practice Innovation Analyst is responsible for driving the development, testing, and deployment of cutting-edge generative AI tools within the law firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development, testing, and deployment of generative AI solutions, including proprietary tools to support various legal and operational functions.
- Conducting pilots for new AI-based tools and platforms, ensuring successful integration into the firm's workflows.
- Collaborating with developers to design and implement GenAI tools tailored to the firm’s needs while ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Developing business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, supporting the product team throughout the development lifecycle.
- Partnering with practice groups and business leaders to identify high-value opportunities for GenAI, focusing on enhancing client service, operational efficiency, and innovation-driven revenue generation.
- Facilitating change management initiatives to maximize adoption, engagement, and impact of generative AI tools across practice groups.
- Evaluating and testing emerging GenAI technologies, providing thought leadership on their potential impact on the legal industry and the firm’s competitive positioning.
- Monitoring the performance of GenAI pilots, tracking usage metrics, and assessing ROI to support decision-making on future technology investments.
- Assisting in developing strategies to monetize GenAI solutions and creating business models for client-facing tools and services.
- Acting as a key liaison between the innovation team and IT, ensuring smooth deployment, scalability, and integration of AI tools within the firm’s infrastructure.
- Assisting with other innovation and analytics projects.
- Providing internal training and support for firm-wide adoption of generative AI solutions, including creating user guides, conducting workshops, marketing solutions, and offering ongoing support.
- Ensuring GenAI initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and contribute to the firm’s strategic goals in innovation and technology.
- Creating robust requirements, documentation, and training materials.
- Developing best practices and guidelines to ensure the optimal use of GenAI solutions.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience, with a master’s degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in legal innovation, legal technology, or AI/ML implementation roles, ideally within professional services or a law firm.
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with GenAI tools and technologies, focusing on piloting, deploying, and supporting AI-driven solutions in legal or adjacent domains.
- Strong understanding of GenAI platforms, AI model lifecycle, and natural language processing (NLP) tools.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technology pilots and collaborating with internal/external developers and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with programming languages (., Python) and AI model development frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Experience working in a law firm or with legal professionals is a plus.
- Experience with Jira and Scrum is a plus.
- A passion for staying ahead of industry trends in AI and technology, with a focus on continuous learning and applying new insights to real-world challenges.
Salary Information:
- In California, the expected salary range is between $85,760 and $128,640. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
- In Washington, the expected salary range is between $85,520 and $128,280. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
- In Colorado, the expected salary range is between $81,520 and $122,280. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
