Kelley Uustal, a national law firm based in Fort Lauderdale, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated law clerk to join our Special Projects Team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work on complex and groundbreaking cases, providing hands-on experience in high-stakes litigation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional research and writing skills, as well as a strong academic record. This role can be full-time remote or in-person in our Fort Lauderdale office, with a commitment of 10-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior attorneys with precedent-setting cases requiring innovative legal strategies and meticulous analysis
- Conduct thorough research on complex legal issues and draft memoranda and briefs
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and thrive under pressure
- Make meaningful contributions to groundbreaking cases from day one
- Collaborate with industry leaders and receive mentorship to enhance your legal skills
Requirements:
- 2L or 3L law student or recent law school graduate
- Exceptional academic performance, demonstrating the intellect to excel in this role
- Proficiency in Westlaw, Word, and Outlook; experience with case management software is a plus
