Job Title: Sr. Manager, Client Development (Litigation)

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Litigation Practice leaders and key stakeholders to implement client development initiatives that foster existing client relationships, attract new clients, and drive sustainable business growth.
- Develop tailored client development plans focusing on the key pillars of the litigation practice markets and key client sectors.
- Lead initiatives to engage and deepen relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Support business development efforts to generate new litigation opportunities.
- Facilitate client feedback initiatives to improve services and strengthen partnerships.
- Drive client-centric initiatives that bolster the value proposition at the intersection of industry verticals and key litigation practice offerings, including securities litigation, employment disputes, white collar and government investigations, intellectual property, and commercial litigation.
- Oversee the production of high-quality marketing and client development materials, including practice area content, strategic pitches and proposals, and directory and award submissions to enhance practice visibility and reputation.
- Identify and prioritize key sponsorships and events aligned to practice area strategies and budgets, managing budgets and tracking ROI.
- Lead or guide event planning and strategy sessions, attending select events to facilitate connections and build relationships with lawyers and guests.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry organizations.
- Collaborate with PR and Communications teams to increase positive media exposure for the Litigation Practice, highlighting the firm's expertise and experience.
- Work with the Global Operations team to capture detailed matter information in the firm’s experience and knowledge management systems for business development efforts.
- Support the integration of lateral hires, ensuring new partners maintain existing client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and promote their litigation expertise.
- Monitor industry, client, and competitor activity to identify trends, inform strategic planning, and adapt client development efforts.
- Implement scalable approaches, processes, and systems to support the litigation practice’s growth objectives.
- Contribute to firmwide client development initiatives, collaborating with other senior leaders across various practice areas.

Education and Experience Information:
- 8+ years of experience in a Client Development role, ideally in an AmLaw 100 firm focused on litigation and supporting an industry-aligned practice group.
- Strong experience in building and leading a high-functioning and motivated team of business development professionals.
- Strong proficiency in litigation data analytics and identifying actionable client intelligence and relationship development opportunities leveraging litigation trends.
- Deep understanding of leveraging CRM; experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Possesses strategic thinking and analytical capabilities to identify business growth opportunities, anticipate client needs, and offer innovative solutions.
- Exhibits executive presence and market expertise to guide and advise lawyers, helping them prioritize and achieve realistic goals, operating as a trusted advisor.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a highly matrixed structure and drive alignment across different stakeholders to enable actionable forward-movement.
- Knowledge of legal industry benchmarks and peer practices, along with a deep understanding of litigation practice areas.
- Proficient in core Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), comfortable with CRM system functionality, and stays abreast with new evolving technologies.
- Travel to other law firm offices and key events as needed is required.
- Hybrid office; 3 days in office required.

Salary Information:
- The target salary range for this position varies by location and is commensurate with relevant experience: $130, - $215,.
