Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide financial reporting, analysis, and support to the law firm’s leadership, timekeepers, and various departments.
- Design, develop, and update various reporting assets, including dashboards and reports for different departments within the law firm.
- Offer analysis to decision-makers seeking financial information or insights, including individual partners, teams of partners, or managers, and discuss underlying dynamics affecting financial performance.
- Monitor and evaluate data sources to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with users to answer data inquiries and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
- Document and update documentation related to dashboards, reports, and financial glossary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and report development is required.
- Previous experience working with the Aderant financial system is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Excel for data analysis and a strong command of SQL for querying databases.
- Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Power BI and SSRS to create insightful and compelling reports and dashboards.
- Clear and effective communication skills to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
- Attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Familiarity with R and Python programming.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure.
Salary Information:
The position is remote, and salary ranges vary depending on geographic location, experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related considerations. The salary range for this position is from $82,200 to $150,000. Offers are contingent upon various factors.
